Also you know what since folks keep coming on here I'm going to not be nice for a second and say what are you trying to gain here anyways? Genuinely. I feel like I brought up a lot of valid points and your only response is that you're not a boomer??
Do I owe you an explanation as to why I reply to thread? Or what I look to gain here? No I don't believe I do.
Thus is an open forum. Anyone can participate and that's what I'm doing.
My only reason for replying about not being a boomer is because it was in your reply to quoting me.
Wanted to set the record straight that that isn't my generation.
And some can see it as a label for certain people if they like but most here do not know me.
Is it right to label people that one doesn't know?
I see a lot of people on this forum whining about how they're treated or how others arent tolerant but yet they turn around and do the same things they complain about to others.

I should elaborate a little more. After you have your answers ask yourself "how did I come to this conclusion?" Or "what evidence do I have to support these answers?" And then include those answers.

I do agree with you @TheDawg, these questions are vague and I didn't come up with them, but these are questions we should all ask ourselves.

Also a bonus question would be, if Christianity were true would you become a Christian?
If Christianity were true, I better see 100 proof because so far nada. Even then, is probably stick to my ways honestly.

I feel like this is a long winded explanation to just say, no I don't have a good explanation and I'm not here in good faith. The "I CAN do this so I WILL" argument is so weak.. just because you can do something doesn't mean you should or it's a good thing to do. I think it's completely fair to ask you why you're here when this is a thread specifically FOR non religious folks to talk to eachother, maybe you are non religious but so far I'm not sure. Seems like from the little ive seen you may not be.

edit; also for the second time I didn't call you a boomer.. but if the shoe fits ;)

I haven't caught up and I'm genuinely not trying to start anything but I just saw this funny post and felt we could probably relate and you guys might find it funny too
I can relate with that a lot, thanks for sharing!

Here they are
1. Where did we come from?
2. Who are we?
3. Why are we here?
4. How should we live?
5. Where are we going?
1. bacteria on earth, then we became eukaryotic cells, then we began the slow process of evolution
2. humans (Homo sapiens)
3. We are a part of the earth's ecosystem so we help the earth and the organisms on it thrive. without us, many species would be affected as they rely on us and our civilization
4. we shouldn't judge others based on things they can't control, and we should help others (humans, animals, plants, etc.)
5. idk? I won't be alive in the future

I suppose. I guess currently I would call myself agnostic, though I do lean towards there being no “God” however, I can almost garentee I would not engage in the going to church or anythinG. I would believe there is a God, and that’s that. I wouldn’t go any further.

@Silviaschicks have you ever seen the matrix? The bad guy basically says "The only other thing on earth that spreads like a virus is humans. They fill on land and use up it's resources and then when that's all gone they move onto a new land." Kinda a glum realization! But for some reason I see truth in those words.

Are you an ornery agnostic or an ordinary agnostic?

4. How should we live?
5. Where are we going?
1. We are born and made of physical cells and DNA and all that
2. We are individuals with unique qualities and characteristics
3. We are here to gain experience and to learn from it
4. We should live in a way that focuses on truth, beauty and goodness and do our best to discard anxiety, fear, and hoplessness
5. We have an endless career ahead of us, putting our experience to work for noble purposes yet to be discovered in our ongoing existence

"If Christianity were true," is not really a good question because there are many different flavors of Christianity, each comprised of frameworks and belief systems that are not alike from one Christian to another. Christianity is not a monolith; it is varied across cultures and even individuals.

If by "Christianity" you mean if Jesus were truly a Son of God and embodied God's intention for how we should live our lives, then that would be a question I could answer. Although, then again, not really because the word "Christian is so fraught with contradictions and hypocrisy these days, I, personally, would not take on that label, regardless of my beliefs.
