Ah, your story is similar to mine ... but different. Raised Catholic. At age 13, a grandmother came to stay with us a while. A Baptist, she shared my room. She left her Bible lying out. I sneaked a peek; we had no Bibles in the house. I soon realized that this book taught things different from what the church taught. I asked the school priest about it and he basically told me not to worry my pretty little head about it, the church would do my thinking for me. Well then, I thought, why did I have a brain? At that point I began to lose confidence, not in God, but in the Pope and the church. So began my search for a church that taught the Bible.
The BuyBull is just one of hundreds of thousands of religious texts... written by ancient, bearded desert dwelling goat herders who though the sun was magic.... doesn’t apply to this day and age of Science.

Ya the Bible is pretty old.
Maybe someone should make an updated version. Make the whole d@mn thing memes and then it may hold interest for the youth of today.

I haven't caught up and I'm genuinely not trying to start anything but I just saw this funny post and felt we could probably relate and you guys might find it funny too

Or just, you know, a couple things that stand up to questioning, logic or reason. But yeah, you're right, it is "the youth's" problem.

Yeah! Interestingly a lot of island dwarfism happened on that island specifically
I'd be interested in knowing if there's a reason for this. It reminds me so much of the Shetland islands lol. I keep registered Shetland sheep, and they're the smallest breed commonly found in North America, then of course everybody knows Shetland ponies, and then there's shelties dogs, which are like small collies lol.

this ain't it chief

i guess i fall into the agnostic camp because the older i get the more i realize i don't KNOW anything, everything is just what someone believes it to be. wow , that's deep for the early am
Me too, this may be controversial but I've actually said in the past I think atheism to an extent can be almost as weird as Christianity, when folks become so sure something exists or doesn't exist they can't prove or can't disprove. It's like they're opposite but similar. Both can be obsessed with proving things they can't. For me I'm just like, well, do any of us truly know? Like 100%? I'm sure some Christians would claim they do but any true Christians I've met would be honest and say yes they've struggled with faith and it's normal. Maybe they do say 100% at the time perhaps but I doubt they always do.
editing to say I do not mean any disrespect to anybody saying this, I'm just saying me personally I'm comfortable admitting I don't truly know. peace and love.
