(Atlanta Area) 7 Laying Hens - Olive Egger and Barred Rock/Australorp Mixes

Selling 7 of my (mostly 1 year old) layers as I have new pullets coming online and need to make room. They are mostly free range, healthy and great layers.

The Olive Egger is the Black chicken - she came from a Black Copper Maran Roo and Easter Egger Hen. She is ~2 years old and lays ~5 eggs a week. She has a broody gene and will go broody a couple of times a year. She is easy to break but also is a decent sitter and has hatched chicks.

The others are White Rock Roo over Black Australorps and Rhode Island Reds. The white hens came from the RIR's. The Grays' and Barred came from the Australorps. These are excellent layers - I have 12 hens and get ~10 eggs a day.

$20 for the Olive Egger and $10 a piece for the other layers. Or - $70 for all 7.

Is your broody hen still available?

I do still have her. She isn't broody now - She last went broody a few weeks ago. below is also a better photo of a few of her eggs.

Do you think that she would go broody for me? Within the next week?

Just curious. Why would you want to sell (replace) perfectly good young layers just to make room for pullets?
