Attached run - chicken wire/poultry netting OK?

https://www.deerbusters.com/fixed-knot-fence-rolls/

This is what I used. The fixed-knot fence is a lot sturdier, and it was easy to work with. I opted to make mine more of a "pen" than a fence, so my run has a lot more flex to it. I did this to make it harder for climbing predators to get up and over. But you can easily turn this into a rigid fence line, too.

The prices on this site are on the higher side. But they do have a 330-foot 8' tall roll for $300. I got mine through a local landscape supply store, and it was their last roll, so I got a good deal on it. It just takes a little hunting to find what you need.

Oh, nice!...I was expecting to see a plastic net, not a metal woven mesh.
The 12" spacing is interesting too.
Don't think I've ever seen this stuff.

I would suggest using hardware wire, but that can be extremely expensive. Chicken wire will keep chickens in, but if a raccoon, fox, dog, cougar or anything of the likes decides it really wants in, it will get in. Chickenwire will just be a minor annoyance to a predator.

My EE bantam cock bird weighed in at 3.1 lbs recently, a very solid little guy!
I don't eat the bantams either, it would be like dressing out woodcock; more trouble than it's worth. Still, they are cute, and good layers of small eggs, and good broodies.

And don’t freak out. There WILL be windows. Just haven’t cut them yet. They are framed. They are planned. They are plentiful.
I was freaking(a little bit) about if it would fit thru the overhead door while on the trailer....probably an optical illusion and not a problem.
