Attaching plastic to run?

Very cool.
Our wind is so bad here. We will need to have the sides come to the ground to block it.

We put bales of straw around the bottom each year, this year we are putting the sheets to the ground and leaving the top space open to prevent blowing snow into the run/coop, not sure why it took me so long to realize this!

it looks like you kind of have it backwards. you want the wind blocked down where the chickens are on the ground and your ventilation up high on the run walls.

We have put bales of scraw around the bottom, or we have in the past, this year we are leaving the top open for ventilation of our new coop that we are leaving one end of open at the peak.

That's exactly what I thought.

We have always put bales of straw around the bottom and left the ends of the peak open for ventilation, new coop this year and we plan to put plastic at bottom and top open because we have left one end of the coop open at the top and want to extra, indirect air flow, for the coop.
