attack of the hen... help!

I will try the time out.... Hope it works
I'm also going to try to figure out how to attach a pic and you guys can tell me if you think it's a rooster. I'm pretty sure it's not. The other 2 that were roosters started crowing about a month ago.
Does anyone know how to attach a pic?

I can't find any recent pictures... Now I'm thinking 'she' might be a roo. Oh man! This really sucks! She doesn't crow though. Maybe there is still hope. I will post a pic tomorrow morning and you guys can tell me what you think. Thanks!

Signs of a RIR roo besides crowing is:

An extra spur on the back of the leg (this is usually a pretty obvious detail)

Longer and darker tail feathers

Thicker legs

Larger comb and wattle (sometimes the wattle flops over)

I'm sure there are more but, these are the ones that I've heard of.

OMG!!! Sounds just like my RIR hen, I am pretty darn sure she is a she but she is mean as all get out. When ever I reach into the coop she attacks me. My Dh was attacked a couple of times but he grabbed her y the legs and hung her upside down and she has calmed down with him. I have snatched her up and held her tight letting her know her behavior was not ok but she still attacks me. I am gonna take pics of her tomorrow and see what you all think. I am just so glad I am not alone.

How old is yours? Is she laying yet? I'm thinking maybe its a case of PMS or something. LOL. Make sure you post your pics on this thread so I can see them. I'm anxious to see what she (or he) looks like. This is so frustrating. I will definately have to try to hang her upside down tomorrow. LOL. I'm afraid to ask my husband to go out there. If she attacks him, she'll end up in a stew right away. He didn't even want chickens but the idea is finally starting to grow on him. I just got 5 day old chicks in the mail today. I sure hope I don't have this problem with them!

. I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one with this problem. I just don't know where it came from. She became evil over night.
