Whoa, this is so cool! What is your plan for what to do if the chick actually makes it to hatching? Do you think it would be able to pip/get out of the bowl properly?
I think so ONCE in a sterile laboratory with all the necessary medical equipment.Has this ever been done? I mean successfully?
Because bacteria in the air and on things like the toothpicks and other tools will eventually infect it.@MGG please explain why this won’t work...
If it does make it, I will just remove the plastic wrap above it, and remove the chick from the cup as soon as it’s readyWhoa, this is so cool! What is your plan for what to do if the chick actually makes it to hatching? Do you think it would be able to pip/get out of the bowl properly?
I don't know anything about hatching, but what makes you think you may have lost it?Welp, day 7 and it looks like we may have lost it

Well, it hasn’t progressed in a while, and it’s hard to tell in the photo, but the veins are separating and look quite thinner than they wereI don't know anything about hatching, but what makes you think you may have lost it?
Oh. Hopefully it's still holding on, but if not, great job trying!Well, it haven’t progressed in a while, and it’s hard to tell in the photo, but the veins are separating and look quite thinner than they were
Woah it’s working! I’m hoping to see more development! What will we name this chick if it makes it to ”hatching”
Hmm, well maybe Put several of these in at once? I don’t think that it was able to make it bc of the fact that this is completely unnatural, and it has only ever been done 2 times as far as I know.Welp, day 7 and it looks like we may have lost it
