This is why I like having writer friends. I will write something and then they'll say something along the lines of "Hey, this reminds me of _____". Beta readers/writer friends are amazing.

Friends, oh yeah I had those before quarantine. I haven’t talked to any of them since, and I broke up with my girlfriend a month or so before Covid, and I’m high risk so I don’t want to go out and talk to people in person, so can my dog be a writer friend???

Hmm... Well, that might be a slight problem. I went out to write with my birds the other day... I didn't get anything written. My Biels decided it was time to try out the hand perch for the first time XD. I was so nervous that they would jump on my chromebook and poop on it.

I should just get people friends, my chickens probably aren’t interested in my bad writing. My dog has also showed his disinterest in the subject .

That is true. But look at it glass-half-full, you're story isn't over yet. You can do some pretty great things.

I’m 28, I think all my chances to do something great have passed. I have two useless degrees and am drowning in debt form getting my two useless degrees.
