Attention men home sick with colds!

Yes, I had symptoms first. Then he got it. However, I have traced it back to his DD coming up here the other day when she was sick with one. So, according to my female logic it's his fault he's sick. He shouldn't of had kids that would grow up and bring him colds via me.

I'd rather take care of all 3 kids with a stomach bug than my husband with a cold.

Don't even get me started on his behavior when I had the H1N1 flu

See, sass works with your man. If I said that to mine, he'd call the domestic abuse hotline and tell them he was being abused, along with being about to die with a cold.

He was whining last night about wanting a cup of hot chocolate, but being too sick to get one. Ummm, why? The kitchen hasn't moved. It's still in the same place, just a few feet off the living room.

I nursed my DH through a case of e.coli. I contacted the pope about sainthood, but it was a no go.
Give me SIX sick kids instead.

I don't know.... I'm not sure sometimes I wouldn't prefer the whiny baby man.

I have the kind that would hack off his arm and just keep on going.

My husband has MS, severe allergies..and had bronchitis for 3 months and was still out in the cold every day siding our new goat barn. The problem? He wants me right there beside him siding that barn no matter how I feel! No I can power through a lot of stuff, I have multiple autoimmune disorders, arthritis, fibromyalgia etc and I know life has to just keep on going. However, I just can't stand the guilt.

I mean, just think you could have the type of guy to come in with pneumonia and say "nah, they'll just throw some antibiotics at me, then I'll be able to head right back out and get that fence on the north west pasture done. You'll be able to get out there and help me put those posts in right?" All the while you can see that he needs his inhaler, or the ER or something...and you've just taken whatever pain killing drugs your allowed?

Yup, give me a whiny baby man who just wants a cup of hot chocolate any day over a man who'll guilt me into pounding posts in 40 degree rainy weather while he takes antibiotics to stay out of the ER, and you'd like to find some tall Swede to work the kinks out of your back.
