29 hours later, my second pip hatched. But, he died after coming out of the shell?

I am heart broken.

He was such a big baby.

Well, all day I have been thinking wrong, which explains allot! Day 21 started last night at 6pm and ended tonight at 6pm. So, the first couple that hatched were not days early, but only a couple of hours early. 12 hatched. There is a 13 that has been pipped and mostly zipped for over 6 hours. She just can't quite split the end off. Hope she makes it soon. There was a 14 that pipped and partly zipped. I saw a little spot of blood where she pipped which worried me. I think it turned out to be for good reason, I haven't seen any movement in the pip for about 4 hours now.

I think she pipped a blood vessel.
Nothing else has even pipped or moved.

I think Daddy may have helped someone out of the shell. He says no, but, looks like this baby's guts didn't go inside?

Is "he" gonna die? This is BIG BABY! Thought he was passed already, but it was a second chick.

I put "him" back in his shell, and back into the incubator.

It sure would be nice if people would talk to me before making decisions for MY project.

Out of 15 eggs so far we had 4 hatch. 3 alive and one didn't make it.

I have several eggs still rocking, but no external pips yet.

And tomorrow is lockdown for my own hatch!

Jeesh, who knew how hard waiting could be. ;)

Baby #4 is in the incubator still, she must have just hatched when we came home, and is so very tiny, but she's snuggling with the other eggies, to stay warm. Hopefully she will dry soon.
