Day 20 and still nothing . I've read lots of post about late hatches. Which if this is one it'll be my first as all eggs hatched in my Janoel incubator were early except for one late one.
Decided not to open to candle just yet but definitely will tomorrow unless I see something in the window to give more hope.

Woke up to no pips or chicks and it's day 21. Thinking with 24 or so eggs should have had an early hatcher or two. Going to candle tonight and check for movement.
Oh well at least I have these two groups

We've got two hatched so far along with 7 pipped. Lol one of the pipped ones clearly has dud written on it from my last candling 4 days ago.

Hey, fantastic! and i thought they were just being lazy. kidding! mine are slowing their lay due to rain, rain, and more rain.

Grand total of 22 chicks now. 17 from last two hatches. About to take the older 5 chicks out to live in garage for a few days so they can get used to colder weather.
Of course now with so many chicks my brown red hen Princess Laya decided to go broody and is sitting on another 14 eggs.
Not sure any will hatch since its still flipping cold here. If they do it'll mean my chickens population will have almost tripled
I have some very nice looking birds and looking at quite a few half Australorp and some half Ameraucana. Which is great as I am going to only keep the ones I want to develop my own type of Easter Egger.
Too many blasted Roosters and Vader has been busy romancing the EE ladies. They're needing a break from him and the drakes. So I left those in a separate pen I have until I can afford something better.
Having to buy a blasted metal roof for house to add to the other bills so we'll see when or if that happens this year.

Yeah I spent an hour or so moving them from basement to garage. Wife was griping of odor.
