looks like first external pip this morning

it's making good progress just can't see but the one egg as humidity spiked pretty good we are about 1/4 of the way around on the zip already

as had to pull first one out of incubator to deal with slight persistent bleed, grabbed a picture Thinking that the extra RIR rooster is the dad to this one due to so much lighter coloring than the other hatches

Well, that was easy. Posted an assortment of photos of the chicks and parents, someone wanted one of the Laced ones so bad I said oh that one is buy one get 8 free.



....and it worked.

yep used cornstartch as was outta stypix, she's had first drink and pecked a bit at feed, now trying to work out logistics of standing up but looking good and strong
