I heard back from the owner of the poultry farm where my store bought eggs came from. She said they have several breeds, so if you have one of these breeds and my chicks looked like your please let me know which ones. Here are the breeds:
Well Summer, Turken, Sussex, Rhode Island Red, Orpington, Dominique, Buttercups, Australorps, Araucana, Wyandotte, Barred Rocks, & Leghorns.

Here are my chicks as of this morning.

Oh neat
Oh neat!! We will have to keep up with our chicks lol!! What type of Baylor are you using? This is my first time and it is so cool! I can't wait to see little chickies!!

I started with a Hovabator with a turner and fan, got so frustrated with the wafer thermostat that would not regular tht I bought a Brinsea Eco 20 Adv mid hatch. I love it!

the 2 with the little reddish fluff look like my rir's ....the darker one with markings is gonna be a looker!! I guess we shall see huh?

Here are my babies from my June hatch, I believe them to be out of my Black Sex Link (barred) rooster over my Red Sex Link Hens. This is the cockeral, Somehow I seemed to get a sex-linking trait with them as the cockeral has red coming in on the shoulders and the hens have no red at all. Please ignore the Blue Cote, the other babies were picking at his tail a few weeks ago. Here's the pullet of the same mix. A smutty white with a few black splotches. This pullet I believe is out of my Black Australorp Rooster over a Red Sex Link Hen. She is a crisp white with a few black splotches and has the Aussie thick black legs.
Wow what cool variations you got from that mix. I am so anxious to see what my mix creates!

Baby steps and bribery..."oh look honey, you need a riding mower for the lawn (and by the way can you build me a chicken coop) ". He actually agreed we need a few more chickens (I have 10 now), so I blame him for rekindling the hatching addiction :)

Hautechics--I'm lusting after a Brinsea! I'm excited to see how your hatch goes.

Deanna, love the peep. Fingers crossed you have a 'bator full when you come home.

Ha ha, my hubby has way more expensive hobbies than my chickens. But actually, after he listened to me complaining about the crappy thermostat in the old incubator he gave me the cash to buy a new Brinsea when he sold a set of speakers. He is a retired mechanic so he knows the value of quality tools. :)

Hatching IS very addict ing, lol.
