Hello and welcomeWell, today I set 12 more eggs. 4 Olive Eggers (Blue Wheaten Ameraucana over Welsummer), and 8 Easter Eggers (Wheaten Ameraucana over Barred Rock or over Easter Egger). Chicks are due Aug 16th. This is my third hatch (and final?) this year.

Awwww...so sorry about your chickMy broody has now got 5 out of 6 hatched! One of the chicks died in the shell!![]()
The sun is out on this cold winters day, and I'll be picking up an incubator this afternoon to see if I can give the cracked egg we have a better chance of surviving. I've not used one before. So nerve wracking. Is it right to also pick up a thermometer/hydrometer for better accuracy? Fingers crossed for the baby in the egg labelled "12". Have a lovely Sunday, hatch-a-long friends.![]()
