Ok here I was complaining that all I wanted to hatch was a green egg layer. Well I ran to the feed store and he had baby EE chicks that were sexed!!!! I was good and only bought one, plus one black silkie. The chicken god is watching over me now

I did make the feed store owner laugh when I told him about the mystery egg swap and how I now have 6 well developing guinea eggs. He knows I live in the city. He thought the whole thing was odd but a "hoot".

Although, since our local feed store doesn't sell chicks you never have that problem much..mostly my problem is with hatching eggs!!

This coming spring I'm going to aproach some of our local feed stores about carrying chicks (that I provide

). I mean what tha heck, I have two sportsmans that are 'usually' empty that could be filled to the top with eggs!
