We've had quite a few hatch with huge puffy cheeks. One is a roo and I'm planning on using him to breed a few more. They all still have the puffy cheeks.

So neat to see my flocks offspring.

I hope I get a few more puffy faces from the other batch of eggs I got from you.

One is out. A little yellow one. I'm guessing a roo by the size of its legs and feet. What color is your EE roo?

We used to have an EE (one of my first chickens ) that had extra chubby cheeks like that. We called her Chubby Bubby.

EE's are the best. I have 3 chooks that lay green eggs, but none are "full blood" EE's. One is dark blue EE hen that has lightly feathered feet named Julia, then I have two EE x American Game hens that both lay green eggs.
