August/September 2013 homemade ornament swap

I like them all. They are really nice! I just hope everyone liked what they got from me!!! Hoping the next ornament make turns out the way I am expecting them to.

Nice!!!! My hubby has been talking about getting bees, I'm not sure about the whole bee thing, but I would be able to make candles, honey ect. That I could do.... and enjoy it also.

I've thought about getting bees for a few years now. I haven't yet taken the jump because:
a) it costs about $500 to get started
b) I've got so many others projects to do for my existing animals FIRST
c) I'm not sure I'd be able to come up with 30,000+ names for all of them

Well off to go do some work and need to go pick up my fruit/veggies for the girls, I have a man at the local farmers market and on Saturdays he makes up a box of his unsellable fruit and gives it to me.

Naming the bees.... now that would be a challenge!!!!
I only have my 12 chickens that need my attention....unless you want to count the kids and grand kid!!!

Well that's great that he saves fruit for you!!! Not many people will do that. I would be happy if I could start selling my eggs!!!! I know most people are selling theirs for 2 bucks a dozen, I'm not going that high.... 1.75 a dozen. Maybe soon I'll be able to get a small sign up.

Just wondering if people actually buy the honey and things like that. If my hubby does get the bees I'm really interested in making candles, honey, lip balm. Just wondering if it would be worth the time and effort.
