Honestly I don't know - is this a heating mat? How is the area under the yellow dome ventilated? (Ventilation is very important) Where is the humidity source? I'm sorry if I fail to seeDo you think this will work as an incubator?
Oh wow! We have 13 °C today...not very summery at all... autumn is coming with big steps.Urghhh it went up to 39°C![]()
The instruction from the incubator I used and the breeder from my shipped bantam Silkie eggs both said 37,8 °C (instruction says 37,5 °C is possible for bantam eggs but if one incubates bantam and standard eggs together always take 37,8°C), but it also depends on in which region you are (but Slovakia is not sooo far away from Germany and my breeder is in Austria). Also what temp is best? I forgot the temp I had in the incubator when I incubated in may![]()
I will definitely post some pictures! We put them under the mamas last night. I checked this morning and they are doing wonderfully.I'm sorry. But it is great that three babies hatched (so far - perhaps some others will still hatch) and Oinky and Inky can be mothers after brooding all that time.
I would love to see some more pictures![]()
