15 roosters and you are only bringing 4 to the swap- wow.
that's alot of roosters you're keeping.

Regarding the Central Maine Bird Fanciers show on Oct 7th

I am looking for donations for the central maine bird fanciers raffle table. Items should be new and can be hand made. these items will be in the chinese raffle- so many tickets for one price and you pick which container your ticket(s) go in.
so far for items I have:
3 certificates for Poulin grain- your choice of poultry grain at your local dealer
a t-shirt donated by louise's closet (a byc'er)
chicken family portrait
candy bouquet
a clock that runs on liquid- pretty cool
as well as some items I still need to get picked up.

we also have a live auction for gently used donated items and pairs of poultry (pairs are male and female please). all money raised goes to the club.
why am i asking on this thread?? because I will be at the augusta swap on saturday and can collect any non perishable items for the raffle table. I encourage you to also come to the show which is the following sunday Oct 7th at the windsor fairgrounds. it's free to get in and there will be birds offered for sale from the exhibitors.
there is still time to enter but it's getting close to the closing date and your birds need to be NPIP tested to enter.
there usually is also a jr showmanship class for the kids as well that tests their knowledge of their bird and other breeds.
any questions, pm me.

yes, well I HAD 22....!

They all get along so why not? LOL They free range just fine together with 20-something hens. They really don't crow much at all...first thing in the am, but other than that they are super quiet too.

do not tell me that. the weather report for last saturday was so wrong. it was rainy crappy all day yet they were not calling for any rain. I hope not to have to stay long but I do have to pick up a raffle item for the show next weekend. I may have to leave Slick home. (my chatty african grey)
Hoppy, I just read that weather is supposed to be monsoon like this weekend. Non stop rain starting this afternoon.... sorry.
