Hi im from Queanbeyan in the state of New South Wales in Australia.

I have silky bantams
a 16 year old hen
a black chook
a red chook (sitting on 2 chicks.)
2 white bantam duckies
5 mini lop bunnies - desexed.
and Charlie, my brown burmese cat.
All of the above are footloose and fancy free
They all get on well together and Charlie looks after everyone including baby chicks.
Everyone loves coming to visit my little farm in the city.

Thankyou, hello to you Julie.
Yes I love my little friends.
they really are organised and do hang out together.
Its lovely to wake up to them waiting on my back step.
My hubby unlocks the chicken pens at 5am when he gets up so when i get up at 7 I have a greeting party.
Ill get my pics uploaded shortly.

Hey that would be great. I would love to see some of your pets. I will try to post some of mine for you to see after I see yours if I can figure out how on this board. I usually post over on EZBYC site and am trying to get used to this new board as they want us all to migrate over. Julie

Hello bantymum! We have a few people from Australia here. I am from Michigan in the U.S.. I love bantams. My friend has 5 Mille Fleur hens and they are beautiful. I have heard about bantam ducks but have not actually seen any. I would love to see your bantam ducks.

Hello Bantymum, Just wanted to pop in and say hello to all you Assie folks. I am from Arizona, usa

I love Bantams also. I have my heart set on some Cochin's. I would love to see your coops and flocks. I am in process of putting together a little village of converted kids plastic Playhouses and dog houses. I have named the area, Peep Town and the first house is called The Cochin House Bed and Breakfast. The first dog house is called the Loft as it sets on top of a Hutch, That is called Peeps Place, With a little sign that says, No Old Crows Allowed. Then we have the Sugar Shack. Most of the time my girls lay their eggs there.

:gig The last hutch is called, Rooster Cave. I am on a mission to find them for a price I can afford.

I have planted 35 Aussie trees, and I had a stunning plant called Sturt Desert Pea. Does any one know of this pland? Your plants grow well in the Az. desert.
