Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

If anyone followed my duck saga, I've got great news! I've lined myself up a pair of Mandarin ducks for next month, I'm soooo excited!!!

[/quote @Fancychooklady I picked up my beautiful SLW from Steve on Monday, I'm kicking myself as I should have asked for 2. She is really lovely, she is a bit scared of the three broody mums (who isn't) but the others are really good with her, but she prefers to hang with the Turkey and her 8 chicks. They all hang together but in their separate groups. My rooster Boots is a beautiful boy and looks after all of them including the turkey. I will post up a pick of her as soon as she settles.

Hope your foot is on the mend Satay... I took some pics today, Here is Isabel, the under the house mamma, relocated to the kids old plastic cubby house with her babies :) Here are her chicks, only one hatched from her brood and the chick looked a bit out of sorts at first so I gave her some vitamins and she came good. BUT in the meantime I hadn't held very high hopes for her and Isabel was doing such a good job of fussing over her, so I popped an araucana and a silver laced wyandotte under her aswell :) Here are some of the frizzle roosters and Panda My Wheaten Dark Olive egger boy And a few more while I'm at it :)
Gratz on your new chicks Chook :)

Oh Karen, such a long way for one chook. I will have a few blrw chicks for sale soon. I sold the 2 bblw a few weeks ago. I just need to decide who stays and who goes. I look forward to seeing pics of your new girl. Her momma is sitting on eggs again now.
