They are pretty birds luke. I can't wait to see my birds. This is a pic I got from the internet. The males colour up like this. I'm planning a huge enclosure for my new place that the pheasants and ducks can co-exsist in :)
 

I have to ask if this girl is giving you olive eggs? We have a BVxAraucana (first gen) who has very similar colouring in the feathers, maybe not with as much brown leakage. Ours has an all black face and comb. I have hopes that we get an olive egg from her down the track.
The brown is more evident in the sun light but she is a bit squirrely when it comes to photo time.


All completely normal Sydney , remember that your guys haven't been out much so they'll be a bit slow to feather in. I do see a few cockerels in there.

I agree, all normal the fluff sometimes starts to wear off faster than the feathers come in. I thought it was more a male thing to begin with but that has been proven wrong seeing it in both males and females.

What a stunning duck, hands down better than Plucka and his wheel.
