We moved an old car yesterday and there was a huge nest under it. Unfortunately a few were crushed but I candled them and today we have pipping. There are 11 eggs with chicks in them! I was going to move them back under the mum but she had left the nest and has now disappeared under the house. She is really bleeping quick!

Wow Fancy, winds that high speed scare the bejezus out of me... We have giant trees behind the creek next to our tiny little tin mining cottage that would make wind like that a nightmare... Does it get windy there often?

Yeah chook, in the winter it feels as though it's coming straight from Antarctica. These winds were clocked at 130 k.

Of course the boys enjoyed it, any excuse to get the chainsaws out. Muffin laid on the step and watched the ' chainsaw party '.

No the canoe is on it's way to the tip. And yes that's DH sharpening the teeth on the chainsaw. What give it away, the issue t shirt?
It looked as though it just missed the chairs too but they are cactus too.

I guess the shirt supported the idea, but a few things made me lean that way. I once had a Beefeater say to me "Can pick you guys from a mile away, it's all in the swagger" Plus he's the only one working hahahaha.

Have to catch up with him one day for a coffee at the airport when he is passing through.

On the bright side, at least you have a guilt free supply of firewood to last you a fair while!
