Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

So, hi everyone! I'm from Oklahoma USA.

Hope no one minds me popping in! My son is looking into graduate school in Sydney. University of Sydney to be exact. I'm actually pretty excited. I love him but he was born to leave home! So I figure that chicken folk are the same around the world and if anyone could chime in to soothe an anxious mother that it would be the nice people on this forum.
If you have any experience with the University could you let me know? Either here or you can pm me. I've subscribed to the thread and will be lurking.
I understand it's lovely weather for you right now. We've have really cold temperatures. Several of my handsome roosters are a little less so due to frostbite.

Welcome cathiesue. Can't say I've had a lot to do with the uni, but what a beautiful place to learn.
It's always been our experience in the services, that the Aussies and yanks get on long a ' house on fire '. How exciting for you, gives you an excuse to visit Aus, perhaps your winter would be a good time.

Hi cathiesue :) I would have said Hi sooner, but took me all that time to catch up on posts lol Teach me for not logging on for a few days :)
I have had mates that went to Sydney Uni, they loved it :) Great atmosphere :)
He will love it I am sure :)
On another note, I think our heat wave has finally broke :) Been raining since Friday woohoo Nice and cool, even Alfie and the girls are out playing in it :) Crazy birds lol
Gorgeous chick Sam :) Hope he is doing better today :)
