Funny turn off events when it comes to the marans roo. Had a lady contact me this morning wanted to buy eggs as she needed to hatch a roo as her's died. I didn't have any but said I had a roo. She drove 1 and half hours to pick him up and she paid $20 for him. So he was meant to go to a new home after all.

I can't sell any roosters at the moment either.
Had to process my last three boys. They made a lovely dinner with plenty of meat on them, which I was very surprised with as they were Leghorns.

I have had no problems passing off my few boys either . One guy came back to see if I had more for their farm ! So far I have sold him maran Barnevelder Ara roo. He took the two old isa girls too

I usually give mine away for the pot but this one I guess was just meant for a new home.
