I'm not sure what mess you a referring to but if it is a bit of smuttiness ,that's nothing to worry about he will more than likely lose it when he molts. How old is he? If you are not happy with him you should send him to Tasmania . Just kidding. He is much better than my roo. I see a good rose comb, nice yellow legs and crisp lacing.
