Thanks everyone!

satay that is a beautiful card!

The heron came back for morning tea but luckily hubby spotted him out of his office window and chased him off.

I know I could put wires or nets over the ponds and probably should but they just don’t look nice and detract from the whole tropical setting; is that mean of me?

Anyways, what I have done is add a couple more pots for the fish to hide in and I was thinking of setting up a critter cam on the gazebo so I can watch while working and chase him off if he comes back.

Edited to add: Hubby is on a mission! Just left to buy us a critter cam! :D

My parent put the mesh just below the surface so you can't see it unless you stand above. Is prettier without though.

All the pics are the same chicken, please don't tell me it's a he, it's so cuddly, lays on its back in my arms like a baby and twitters

Doing some jealousy drooling at that lush green grass also!

Mondari I note you mention they were 5 weeks old when you got them; how old are they now?

It is tough when they turn out to be roosters and we can't keep them

I have a couple of barnyard-mix bubs that I am waiting on gender; I have one I am really hoping to keep but sadly, if it is a rooster, it has to go.
