Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

True Ash. It can't get my birds now (fingers crossed)so it has moved onto my dog. I had the electric fence up for about 3 months and the first few months it seemed to work in the end it was getting hit by the fence but coming through anyways. Guess it ain't the smartest of dogs. Not sure I could afford to buy enough electric fence to do the whole 6 acres though. I do have dog proof fencing around the entire property but it still seems to find a way through. Thanks for your advice though :) I will have to think over what I do next now.
On a funny note. Just went outside to check the wellies and Thor my huge akita cross was trying to jump up a gum tree after a goanna. If you have ever seen a 50kg dog think he is part koala and can climb a tree it's darn hilarious.

Sam you know how we were talking about broody Aussies the other day . I took this picture the other day to show someone my moulting brahma. Wasn't til I looked today I could see all the broody aussies in the nest boxes behind her. Not sure if the picture shows it well but some have 2 or more hens in the one box.

Lol love the pic. Glad to know mine is not the only one on off a lot this year. I'm sorry to hear about the council and your dog? Or borrow my Sam. He hate other dogs and will kill them if they come in his yard. When we walk he is ok cause it's not his yard ! But still dislikes them

Love the goat pic Ash. Thor got the dog out of the yard but he was asleep up near the house when it got Zeus but hey I would not mind borrowing Sam. Maybe with 3 of them the stupid thing will stay out of my yard. Putting Zeus in the chook yard would not work Luke as he is a herding dog. He would never hurt them but the poor things would never get to sit still as he would be rounding them up all day and night lol.

A big thank you to Sydney quail man and Pinky. For their wonderful eggs that arrived today. You both are wonderfully kind people. Sam yours are in the bator and Pinky yours are under a broody Pekin. :)
