Wow, that's beautiful!!

Awwww wilmas a sweet name!

Yeah well im almost sure i would get better marks if i used chicken analogies lol. My lecturer owns a farm so all his class exercises use clients named MRS EWE or MERINO LAMB lol. And they will live at WOOL DRIVE. I quite enjoy it :) puts a little bit of fun into tax haha.

@satay isn't that what ud want? Lol. The rain not coming until after the grass is mowed? I think im missing something here..:-/

My fav EASY, loved by EVERYONE dessert when entertaining is choc ripple cake. Always a huge hit and gone in no time but so so simple :)

Normally yes but I have family coming for easter so I don't want it to grow to much before then or ill have to mow again.

My rooster is broody....is this normal? He spends all day trying to show his girls how comfy each nest is that he has selected for them, toc-ing and calling, and he has been spotted sitting on eggs and toc-ing at them!

The girls have zero interest in any of the nests, except the one box that all 4 lay in, and even less interest in brooding the eggs or staying in the nesting box any longer than necessary. He tries to block them in the box as if to encourage them to brood.

Yay Satay! Day 10 here in the incubator!

We planted 2 passionfruit plants over the summer.

I am getting a baby goat next week....any tips?

And despite our best efforts the 4 hens have names: Wonky (she has a crooked back) and her sister Willy. Then Dino (the dinosaur) and her sister Dana.

That is gorgeous artwork!!

Yay for the quails!!

@Sidhe13 ***?! Lol. Awww that sounds soooo gorgeous! I love ur rooster already! What breed is he? No idea if its normal but i know my rodney loves to look after his girls and teach them to do what he wants them too :) not how to lay an egg tho.. lol

@tandykins they are gorgeous! Goodluck onthe hatching! Take each day as it comes with the depression thing, just try to make urself move whether u feel like it or not and hopefully ull end up getting some joy out of it if u try to focus on a coupleof positive things :)

Ok back to study for me! Pity, its such a gorgeous day outside!

RodneyRooster I’ll make a deal with you, seen as you are studying and don’t want to because it is a nice day … I will take your nice day off your hands but to be fair, you can have our overcast, rainy not so nice day as a trade

Not much news from here … we are up to Day 7 of the egg drought! I had to buy eggs this week to scramble and give them for breakfast!

Nuggets are doing well and after two weeks of air lifts, they all managed to work out where Mum disappears to every night and seem to have finally made the connection that the ramp they come down every morning is the same one they need to go back up at bed time! Good job they are cute and adorable cos they sure are not going to win any Quiz's or solve any puzzles in the near future
