Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

Murphys law has struck again. I just finished all the mowing and it's started raining  Remind me again why I bothered :lau

ROFLMAO

You wanted green grass this is how you get it LOL. Cut then rain then sun then rain and more rain then an hour of sun then more rain then enough sun to mow then repeat

Rofl true I find it hard to not use chook analogies doing assignments when I was younger or horse for that matter.

Yeah 10 yo named Fred hubby names the LS hen Wilma

Awwww wilmas a sweet name!

Yeah well im almost sure i would get better marks if i used chicken analogies lol. My lecturer owns a farm so all his class exercises use clients named MRS EWE or MERINO LAMB lol. And they will live at WOOL DRIVE. I quite enjoy it :) puts a little bit of fun into tax haha.

@satay isn't that what ud want? Lol. The rain not coming until after the grass is mowed? I think im missing something here..:-/

My fav EASY, loved by EVERYONE dessert when entertaining is choc ripple cake. Always a huge hit and gone in no time but so so simple :)

Hey guys. I've been so busy with study and a bit down with depression so I haven't been around much.

Things are going well. I obtained 3 new SLW pullets - beautiful babies. My hens are going a bit bald from too high a cockerel to hen ratio so I'm trying to get the numbers up a little (I have space for far more chickens that I have anyway).

I've also got two eggs in the incubator that my husband made. We decided to do a very small test hatch and put in 5 eggs. One never developed - an error in the programming resulted in a temperature drop over 6 hours and two stopped developing but the last two are going strong. This morning I heard little cheeps coming from inside the incubator though the webcam in the bator doesn't show any visible action yet. :D

How is everyone?

I am agreeing with Rodney, Satay, you mow the grass while DRY, then sit on the patio & enjoy while the rains come !...is how we do it here.
