Sounds promising. Now that the worst is over this clip explains it all.

Yep pretty much looked like that but more mushy. Our vet is a little gentler though as Carl got to sleep through it.

General anaesthetic is a bit risky with birds, so I'm guessing she was being cautious.
I'd go easy on the water melon and stick to soft scrambled eggs.

Good to hear that the surgery was successful

Our poor girl cluck cluck seems to have hurt her leg . I put a post in the injury forum but got no helpful replies. Does anyone know if you can get painkillers for chickens without a consultation with a vet here in oz ?

She is really dehydrated so it was just a way to get some liquids in her as she wasn't interested in drinking much. I didn't give her much though. Good reminder on the scrambled eggs, will do that in the morning.

has anybody bought and used this type of incubator? Got it from eBay and I think it may be faulty. The instruction is bit poop and can't hardly understand got this one brand new from Melbourne. This thing does not seem to switch on the led display won't come on and can't see any on or off buttons I have ordered some fertile marans egg and can't pick it up as can't figure out the incubator. Please help

I have been to these sites the big problem is when I plug it in nothing happens the led lights don't turn on
