Hatch day for me marans sigh... Too stressful my humidity in the Bator was too low majority got stuck in their shells have to help most of them to hatch. One almost bled out seems ok but very weak, have 2 more stuck chicks 1 that just pip 2 doing nothing they might still pipcrickeys I need sleep![]()

Seems we are the warmest, it's a lovely warm 3.9 here. Mind you it tells me it "feels like" .7 and it sure does! Wonder what qualifications you need to be the dude who gets to stand outside and tell them what temp it feels like? ;-)
Hi fellow Aussie Chicken lovers, Im looking at getting an automatic chicken door. i only have a small coop (eBay special) iv looked at a few different designs but I'm thinking the one from http://hensafe.com.au suits my needs (solar, complete kit with door and light sensor) i can throw a spanner around but look simple enough, I'm going to ply up the swinging door i currently have and mount this to the ply. Have any of you used this product? similar? or any suggestions? also Aussie made is a good thing but if an awesome product is made over seas i will consider it.
