Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

I had to get rid of our rooster. He became super aggressive and even me, who fed him and who he'd been okay with, became his target for attacks everytime I stepped outside... Imagine what he could have done to someone who didn't know he was there,...or to a kid.
Probably for the best. I won't tolerate an aggressive rooster. I'm thankful that my Casanova has never been aggressive toward myself or anyone else.

Seeing all these eggs going in made me realise that the first few araucana eggs I have would be fertile, the eldest have been in the fridge a week would it be too late to try them in an incubator ?

I've hatched eggs that have been in the fridge for a month - got 10 out of 12 I think. Incubated under my georgous Harriet may she RIP after loosing her a few weeks ago.

Make sure you bring them up to ambient temperature first. You should have been turning them too.

Cheers

I have had good hatches from 9 days in fridge. Sit on bench for at least 3 hours before setting in incubator. I also successfully hatched a 15 day old refrigerated egg, it was the final one that she ever layed.
