Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

satay .. wow, I just got the shudders .. how awful if you had made the decision to put him to sleep.  Granted, you would not know what you know now, in that it may be a misdiagnosis .. but yeah, shudders.

I have only ever had to make that decision once with a dog and that was Charlie-Bear whose epilepsy, at 13 years of age, had got totally out of control and was causing her severe convulsions with temporary blindness and it was my decision, not the Vet’s.

Just my humble opinion, but you know Zeus better than anyone and you are really the only one who can judge his pain level etc.  Regardless of the diagnosis and what the Vet tells you, the decision on how he is doing should be on your judgement, not a Vet’s.

[I hope I conveyed that correctly]

That's what I have been saying to hubby since Monday. Lesson learnt I suppose. I am glad I went with my gut to give him more time to see.

No progress on Patsy yet, I just had one of the old farmers come check her for me and he says she seems to be doing ok and to leave her be for now. He'll come back and lunch time and check her again for me if she hasn't had her lamb by then.

It's Showtime ! Royal Hobart tomorrow and Saturday, and shows every weekend till the 12th of December. Time to wash Rosie pony for the animal nursery and we are dying the white silkies for the petting pavilion . It's a public holiday today, rest day.
This pic is from last weekend at longford show.

Best of luck with the show this weekend. Do you have your pictures up all over town like last year?

Thanks. Yes the banners went up the day before hubby and DD came back in from Sydney
Nice welcome home. A young girl from Vic is coming in with her coach to ride rusty next week, will tell her to check the banners out.

If it wasn't so cold I would love to come see the show in Tassie. Though by now it would probably be like our winter temps so may be able to cope just :D :D
