To be honest luke I didn't even think about them having different disease problems to us.

I guess there are still fleas, lice worms and those sorts of things. Do they need the full 30 days though.

Yeah, Even if you can't see any, treat you newbie for lice, mite and worms.
Yeah 4weeks is what they say. Although I saw some were If you have treated all your newbies and see no signs of disease than 2 weeks should be adequate, but still carry a risk. People say you can still get dormant diseases after the 1 month period. So...lol. Not sure really haha.
There is a risk In everything, I have bought chickens before and have just chucked them straight in and no probs but have also obtained Scaly from some Araucana's.

No I meant we may have less to worry about, It just never even crossed my mind to consider that. :)

What diseases do we have over here? I hear them talk about cocci and mareks all the time, I know we do have cocci, do we have mareks?
