I do hope they can help Aggies eye. I had to have an eye removed on my blue Aussie following trauma. It ruptured - can't imagine the agony. All good now though.

Congrats on the egg. Lovely shade.

Yeah I've been worried about her losing the eye, hopefully it won't come to that though. I'm glad your Aussie is all better now. Aggie's got some anti-inflammatory meds till her appointment tomorrow. They're gonna briefly sedate her for a closer look under the eyelids, the third eyelid, and at the eye itself. And thank you, I'm super happy with Mabel's egg, it is very pretty, I'm curious to see if her eggs remain this colour or the shade varies.

sjturner we do not eat a lot of eggs .. I gave a dozen away to my neighbour yesterday and scrambled up 6 for the girls breakfast this morning.

MyHaven did you take the picture of Chris? I am not usually star struck but I do think I would possibly go weak at the knees if I saw him in real life.

So, remember how I said Crystal starts Demanding to be let out anywhere around the 3pm mark and gets louder until the scheduled 4pm free range? Well, today I was on the phone to a colleague and he asks “What is that noise? Do you have ducks now too!” lol

I live in sa, in the south east. Warmer days and more light always increase egg production. Climate effects vary from breed to breed.
