Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

Wooo hooo! Hello Friends!

I have so much news! But so little time!

Puddy cats and chookens arrived safely at their new home .. all in one piece!

I will try and catch up with everyone soon and find some time to navigate the new look but just wanted to say that I missed you all and it is wonderful to see you all again!

:hugs

Yay so glad they made it. Must say i'm not at all fussed with the new site so far. Kinda seems a step backwards but hey i;m sure ill get used it.

So very pleased to hear that your girls and the your cats, arrived safely and in good fettle. Presumably, the girls have settled into the new coop ( Buckingham Palace by the looks of it - wonderful job by hubby there ).

I was actually in panic mode !! - password didn't work, couldn't navigate - changed password, so am back in - don't know whether I am still on the register to receive email updates ( which is what I always looked for in my Inbox, every day ) ... will just battle on to find my way around. Hope I haven't missed anything - BYH ? Does that have the same forum ( this Aussie one ) on there too ? .... I will now have to bookmark the site, and just check it every day I guess. Larger font is good.

No news from here, except that my new little boy "Benny" ( registered as Sherlock ) was desexed last Wednesday, and has finally settled down ( a bit ). No play with Miss Ruby for another 10 days or so. !!!

Good to be back :wee

Cheers .....

HI Anni. So glad to hear that Benny has settled down now.

Only news from me is still cleaning up. All downed trees have been cut up and one huge pile to burn once it dries down more. Might have to take some pics of that when it happens. Still have many gums to eventually cut down that have snapped high up but it is starting to look better around here now. Doesn't help that being sick i am on a no heavy lifting ban..
Not much news from the girls. Most on strike only getting a few eggs a day so not even any hatching happening around here except for the budgies that never stop laying and hatching.

Satay - hope you are feeling much better, and not overdoing the cleaning up bizzo. Was that from the floods or from the cyclone ? ... and thanks for your comments re Benny ( Sherlock ) ... he is a most lovable little cat - mad as a March Hare at times, but full of purrs and is a great lap sitter too. He meets and greets Miss Ruby every day, but no play allowed yet.

Teila - like you, not overly impressed with the new look here - can't leave a few words on the 'likes' any more. hmm. And we have lost our 'badges' - mine was the 4 year badge. And there are quite a few Golden Feathers here, but they are not showing either.

I can't find what I am looking for - a comment from Sparky ( thank you ) ... and someone elses' new chickies, a bit befuddled here at the moment. ....

Anyway, thank you - and it is good to be back here.

Cheers ---
