Oh wow!! That is really positive! I may wait an extra day before I check them out then.

My little guy has been on a dry wash cloth since hatch. He can grip it fine his leg was never right.

In the rest of the brooder I have puppy training pads. The strong duck had no issue at all walking on them and with the brace the little guy can now too. His Lilltle leg was going off to the side on carpet even.

I'm looking at my 2nd one today and I think he may be having difficulty too. I think Fancy is right about the deficiency I might have to go and get some too.

Just looked back at fancy's post I have anitone so I will use that now. It won't hurt any others will it. How did you make that brace it look awesome. If mine doesn't start walking properly I'll do the same. My first one was wobbly to start with and now is running around. My 3rd duckling is about to emerge. I am not getting anything done around the house. The ducklings keep calling out to me when I come and say hello the run up to me and stop squawking, as soon as I walk away they are at it again for a while. My husband said "I thought they were quiet ducks." Between them the silkies and the eggs I think the house and garden will suffer. Maybe the kids and hubby too.

Yes I'm definitely thinking you are right that there is vitamin deficiency in parents.

It is a small size hair elastic threaded through a piece of drinking straw slightly smaller than the width I wanted the legs to allow it to not be too tight

He is getting good at standing and walking is coming along really well with the little brace I think he will recover quickly. Here is a better photo of the device @LuckysMum
