Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

Gosh there is never a dull moment at my place. Just before I was hanging some washing on the line when I heard someone yelling help, help so I look up and can just see the electricity man up near the house. I start to run towards the house freaking thinking my dogs must be having a go at him(my dogs have never had a go at anyone but...) or the neighbours dogs are there. As I get near to him I can still hear him yelling but what do I see. He is pushed up against his car and he is being surrounded by .,..... the wellies lol. You have to picture a tall skinny version of santa (he has the beard and all) freaking out over some chickens. I asked him did they have a go at you and he said no he is just scared of chickens lol.I asked him if he had been attacked by chickens is that why he was scared? His answer was no they just scare him. Now in the wellies defence one of the neighbours a few places up the road has chickens too and she gets veges and stuff from the iga that they are going to throw out for her hens. If she gets to many she brings some down to me. The wellies know she will throw them something out as she gets out the car to give me what she has. I guess they wanted to know why this fella had no treats lol. Thankfully this is not my normal electricity man he loves the wellies.I wonder if I will have a warning attack chickens as a note for future readers under my name now.

And finally.. The black and white pekin hen is my lovely Chooka. She is the hen I have owned for the longest. I had her in Brissy when I used to live there. I have had her 8 1/2 years but she is much older I believe. She not a fan of free ranging these days she prefers to hang in her pen.

Ok I can officially blame Luke for my latest purchases (not really but just jokin) we were talking the other day about our runners not laying so I thought I would pop on farmstock to see if anyone was advertising any runner eggs... Well what do I see the very first add. Wellies for sale and in Ipswich too. Not far from here. So I emailed the person thinking they would be gone and guess what ... they weren't so now on Friday I am picking up 4 new wellie hens lol. I better ban myself from farmstock now lol.

hay...LOL. More chickens Satay, you just cannot help your self. I find Farmstock hard to navigate. It's so hard to read sometimes and most of the stock for sale is up your way and down in Sydney.
Your going into the wellie's now.lol. Good luck trying to stay on just a few.
