Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

Sorry I haven't been around much.
Its very wet here too, the river that goes past us has been up for the last three weeks or so, and yesterday it got even higher. We are well up the hill from it, but the road that crosses it is well under, so we have to go the long way round to get to town.
Many of the other rivers and creeks are as high as we have seen them....
Damn! Stay safe!

I’ve sold 2 of the chicks yay!
Still got my little chick she’s being hand fed as needed she’s slowly working out she has to peck for food… doesn’t help that she’s soo small and the other chicks just push and shove her out of the way.
I’ve currently named her Izumi which is Japanese for “spring” she seems to like that name… here is a photo of the little one… ok well 2 photos lol 😂
Congrats!! My second batch is due to hatch next Thurs....wish me luck! :fl

@Poultry mum! Another Fuzzy baby - this one just hatched thismorning & looks very much like daddy!

All my chicks were sold… only got my little one left … she’s not for sale lol… got a new lot in the bator … 6 Pekin duck eggs all fertile and about 5 standard mixed eggs and I think 10 or 12 sebrights 🤞🤞🤞
Crazy!!! 😂

My hatch rate is good this time round - 80%. All are already walking around....they're so cute with all that Fuzzy beards & sideburns!!! Will post pics later!

@ChookieG hope your ok darl… saw the Lachlan peaked last night and it’s still rising stay safe darl… we’re one of the lucky ones no gas and it could take a minimum of 4 weeks but it might be longer 🙄🙄
Oh no! R u using gas for heating, cooking & showering? Hope ur ok...
Thanks sweetie...yeah my neighbour told me some residents down the southern end closest to the river were asked to evacuate. Luckily I'm on top of a hill so still ok! Forbes is copping it bad though....luckily we didn't decide to live there!
