New People! Hello
frow.gif

Come Spring, we are going to have an awesome swap!

I have 3 Plymouth chicks hatch (out of 11) a few weeks ago and I'm starting to think they may all be boys... They have lovely yellow legs so I'll keep the best looking, but I still wish a couple had been Pullets. Oh well, the price of hatching.

I started worrying because it looked like one of new bronze turkey hens could be a boy (not again!) but on closer inspection she looks very much like a she... Even if it did look like she could have been gobbling with the boys, lol.

Tell me what you think

Boys are headed right, girls headed left

My lady gobbler is on the right while one of my boys is on the left.

And here are the baby Plymouths:

Only one has a bit of a tail growing, but the combs are all the same.

And here are some random fancy quails:

They've had a light bulb in their cage since last Sunday (to encourage laying, all quails are in their first year so it shouldn't be an issue) yesterday I got 4 eggs and today I got 7. Lovely creatures.
