Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

Yikes, so much water! I hope the gravel helps :)

Satay, just candled my eggs from Julie and 9/12 are going great. Air bubbles are a little strange from shipping but pretty good viability rate :)

I'm not planning to keep any of these next chicks (fwm), so how much do y'all think the Chicks would be worth?

Luke, not sure if I mentioned, but sadly zero of the Yokohama even started. Not sure if it was fertility or rough handling in the post but sadly won't have any Yoko chicks :(
Waste of a whole lot of stress and money but I think she'll send more in spring.

Well think we might be breaking records here.
140mm so far with 2.5hrs to go till the 24hr period is over.

With a bit of luck my back yard isn't the only thing flooded and I can have a day off work due to road closures!
Suspect I'm gonna need it to find some way to get the water out of the coop again!

Wow Pinky bet you are disappointed about the yokohama eggs. I could imagine they were not cheap either. Bummer.

That's a lot of rain appps for this time of year. In the floods of 2011 we had 440 mm in one day. Being that I am on the side of a hill my poor pens where trashed with water. I got tarps and just layed the in the house until the rain stopped. Best I could at the time.

400

Wellies out enjoying themselves.
