Lol I have 830m and its still not big enough. I can't have a cow or goats or pigs or a horse just my chooken girls lol and the quails didn't make it so I have not replaced them.

I used to live on 733m2 and hated it.

I'm now on 8000m2 (2 acres) and love it. I have my horse, 9 chicken, 2 dogs (soon to be 3) and a green cheek conure.

we have 10 hens and a roo...only supposed to have 6 and no roo's lol

Living on the edge, bribing the neighbors! Night box helps though.

So how do you keep your roo quiet?

Ok I got a feisty head hen she is staring down my chicks through the glass door and the chicks keep tempting her by going closer to the door and getting her to peak at the door. Starting to think maybe integration with these chicks is not going to work with the head hens behaviour at this point.

Lol sounds like your hand are full with her. I read some where about taking a head bossy boots out for a while. Then she is the new one I'm sure more experiences chook wrangles will have some advice for you kat
