Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

Sigh! - It's raining all day AGAIN here! Little Araucanas are fairly popping out of their eggs right now. I had a couple of poor hatches, and turned the rcom up half a degree. - It seems to have worked.
Awe, such cuteness should be illegal ! Ash you should be locked up.

to see them go. The little girl was sooo excited. I guess that eases my sadness a little.

Yes Ben, the old place loves the sound of music. The original coach house burnt down, but the pioneers use to meet here once a month for music night in the barn. My daughter plays piano and violin and sings. So it's up to her to keep the house musically in tune.

Nice hatch ash. I will take some of that rain off your hands if you like. The highway here has been shut due to fires today.

wow lovely rexy. Who did you get them off?

They are from Serpentine in WA, Satay. they are even better in the flesh. I am really happy with them, just have to get them to hatch now. The poor things had a pretty rough trip, as they were packed brilliantly, but there were still 2 middle ones broken. If you want more details, I can pm them.

The heritage is what attracted us to Tassie, we go back to the mainland regularly, but find the heat overbearing . Perhaps the heat gene has been lost over the last 14 years.
Where else could we have a 160 year old farm on the river.
This is what we fell in love with.

Yes Fancy, there is no doubt that it is beautiful. When I went we stayed in a little cabin near the Huon river, and it was so beautiful. You can certainly get the best value for your real estate dollar as well.

Oh how I love the cold:D . I don't actually like being cold always but just like rugging up and being cozy in the cold.lol.

Fancy, If I had to live any where apart from Europe or Africa I would live in Tassie. Very nice country.

Don't live in Africa, there is a reason that Australia is full of Africans. My partner is from South Africa, and he tells stories of how dangerous it is.
