Our girls are enjoying their freedom in the yard again after all the rain and wind we've had round here the last couple of days. Hope everyone's chooks & pens are well and still standing.

You sure they are all girls lol Just jokin. How are the new ladies settling in?

So did anyone else get the rain and wind last night? Thought the chooks would be blown away this morning but they were all okay, just a bit skittish. We had 105mm in 24 hrs!

Lots of rain here, and this was just after we cemented the main poles for my large chook run this morning.

Oh well, it was good to get some rain anyway. Recently, all the rain coming my have seemed to part when it gets to me and re-form without giving the property a drop.

Sure did got it Friday and Saturday, lost power for almost 3 days. Real hectic here, trees down everywhere.

My parents house is like that. They never get as much rain as us but live less than 10mins away.

I have quail babies this morning. My eggs from Sydney quail man are hatching in the bator. Hopefully I will have new baby chicks hatch from PInky on Friday

Yeah every one was O.K, the chickens really didn't seem to mind at all. That is 1 reason I love broody hens, no electricity needed, your eggs are all right under a broody.
