Not yet, as I set some more chook eggs for another friend (Barneverlder, Araucana and some more Australorps). I caught chicken fever (it's highly contagious

) and everyone I know now absolutely has to have hatched chickens (I'm not complaining though

). I've got a second incubator ordered so I can use one for incubating and one for hatching when it's free.

Soon, I'll order some quail eggs, but not for a few weeks at least.

It's so bloody hot here, I have had to turn off the heat lamp
for my 4 day old chicks. Temp with lamp off is now 38 degrees in the brooder.
(As long as I remember to turn it back on tonight - somebody remind me!)

There you go Sam. Update so far 18 out. Most are marked number 2 if that helps. Still some pipping but took these ones out to the brooder as I am having trouble keeping the humidity down due to all the wet weather.
