There are different ones all the time out here Luke.. There is one in Gatton next Saturday but I can't go to that one as I have family coming up for easter .

Oh really, I was told that ( well around my area ) there was like 3 months were all the breeders show and sell of stock and everything chicken happens.

I'm hopefully going to the big Grafton Ag show nest month, so that should be good.

In saying all the time I mean from Brisbane to Toowoomba it covers a huge area. Laidley was about 40 minutes drive and Gatton is our closest big town which is 35km from our house.

Yeah I have seen a few little expo's but they were far and wide. Australia is a huge country. My English Relo's complain about driving from Manchester to Exciter ( 4hr drive ). I complain about driving from Coffs to Sydney ( 7hr drive ).

Sort of admitting defeat while there is time to find a good home.....
Those of you that breed how to you go about re homing your roosters? I've put an add on gum tree what other options are there? I'm sort of stumped on ideas.

I had to get sell of my rooster a while back. I put an add on Gumtree and within a week Some "upper class" couple bought him for $25 for their precious little rir hens.lol.
So I was lucky git him for nuthin sold him for something. This is just my experience. I see most people put up their roosters for free, so you may have to do the dame thing. There are a few Frizzles in Gumtree at the moment so you may have some competition.lol.

Hope it all works out for you. Did you try the Water thing?
