Australia - Six states..and that funny little island.

Got a phone call from the council yesterday as I suspected they didn't get the dog on camera. So there is nothing else council can do now unless I can get a better picture of it or it actually attacks someone.
Have lots of baby quails in the incubator when I woke this morning. Will get pictures later as my battery is flat.

WOW, Please post more pictures of you flock, They are wondeful. So much color and variety!!
Like WOW!!!!! Love it!
Will do my best Luke. Normally they are spread out of our 6 acres but as they are cleaning the vegetable garden at the moment I thought I would take a picture of some of them all toghether.

How incredibly frustrating! My sister in law lives up near Innisfail....over a few days the dog next door to her killed all of her chooks....around 12 of them. Several months later, it killed all her replacements. Again....because she didn't have proof, the council didn't want to know. Finally she caught the dog, and delivered it and the chicken bodies to her neighbour. The neighbour eventually admitted it was her dog, and replaced my sister in law's hens....with old, old, ladies who didn't have feathers!

Hmmm Lots.. I'm actually not sure of how many i have I don't count them lol. They are just the girls from the large chicken area.

I see a RIR rooster in their Satay

Funny enough Luke I don't count numbers of chickens but I know when one is missing usually, Like when Maxi died recently. My girls all go into their house at night and are locked up in there. It is usually when I let them out to free range that I notice if one is not there. I have not lost a large fowl hen or rooster to a fox. I lost my white faced black Spanish male to the neighbours dog. I have mostly had ducks and turkeys taken out by predators.
Yeah you were right to there was quite a few roosters in the picture too.
