Most of the breeds were like this but some did have info?

Guess we are off to bunnings for more hoses the for this Turkey family - and yes, the boy turkey will try to rape the odd girl chicken...its happened to mine before I brought them to the back garden and also to my neighbours - the other girls tried to protect her until we got out there.

Yes, a girl can crow - one of my silkies does! She is so very funny and crows when she is frustrated. She also will make a croony noise when I am on the deck and call her name, she is just really really cute! She lives with two other silkies and three big girls but is the only one to crow - she has never lived with a rooster.

OMG really. I have had turkeys for years they sleep at night in the bantie pen. Never seen them show any interest in the banties. Think I would have a heart attack if I saw that lol.

I can relate to the turkeys getting in to my girls' coop and then flapping around .... it was quite funny when I was yelling at them and I must say, spraying water with my $7- target water pistol, but they just couldn't find the way out. So I had to calm down to help them out - or they wouldn't have got out. I live in north-western Sydney

Thanks for saying about the mint and bush rats - I didn't know that - I will go mad with mint now too.. Unfortunately the rats like the coop as well as the p[ossums and the turkeys ...

Someone asked about wormwood? I found some in Bunnings in a little multiherb pack of seedlings. It's still growing.
