I was trying to think how to explain the difference. They both are 100% acv but the one you have is filtered so all the goodness that is beneficial for them is taken out. In American they call it the "mother". If you look for threads here on acv it will explain the differences.

Same as acv Luke. Just add a cap to say 5 litres of water. I have many 5 litre water's so I just put a cap in each one when I change the water.

I mean using garlic, like do I put a bulb in their water or do I soak as bulb in water then add the garlic water to their water.
